Conclusion: Expert Talk on E-Mobility Held at IIT-Delhi

On 8th July 2017, Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers (ISIEINDIA) recently conducted the 1st ever Expert talk which highlighted the benefits & implementation of non-conventional sources of power, especially in the automobile sector, in accordance with Govt Of India’s plan to switch the Indian automobile sector to electric vehicles by 2030. Thus ISIEINDIA conducted this Expert talk which was widely attended by over 250 participants all across India. Students, Faculties, Industrial Experts not only from the North but also from the Southern states of India like Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh & Also from the western states of Rajasthan & Gujarat attended the event.
We are thankful to all the Guests & dignitaries for sparing their valuable time & marking their presence at our event. It gives us a feeling of pride and honor to have such great dignitaries who have been working tirelessly towards the society & green technology, coming to the event & supporting us. We would also like to thank all our participants for coming to the event from such distant places.

The event started with a brief introduction about ISIEINDIA to the gathering with the event videos being played in the background. It was followed by a brief introduction & felicitation of our Chief Guest Mr Bharat Bhargava (DG ONGC Energy Centre)Special Guest Mr S.K Jagwani ( Director AFSTP & Biofuels, MNRE) by thePresident of ISIEINDIA Mr Vinod Gupta. It was followed by the felicitation of all of guests, speakers & dignitaries. The Introductory welcome speech by Mr Vinod Gupta followed the felicitation. He emphasized on the need to switch towards renewable technology the future plans of ISIEINDIA. Special Guest Mr Jagwanielaborated on the works done by the government to promote the renewable technology. He also motivated the students to come forward & join the drive to harness the renewable technology. Mr Dhianu Das ( Guest Of Honour ) emphasized on the differences that would be made to the society once we switch to the solar/ electric/ hybrid vehicles.
The speeches were followed by the awaited opening of the ESVC 2018. Our Chief Guest, Special Guest; Guest Of Honour ( Mr Amit Gupta, CEO Meru Group).
The Key Note Address delivered by the Chief Guest Mr Bharat Bhargava focussed on live examples & situational implementation of the technology. Having worked for more than 40 years on solar, he elucidated the difference between the mentality of people 40 years ago, & today. He easily connected with the gathering who were engrossed into the enlightening words of the chief guest.
Mr Sumit Aneja ( CEO Speedways Electric) along with Ma’am Simran Kaur ( Sales Head, Speedways Electric). The Event was probably the most popular event of the day. The speakers showcased a lot of their products which they have manufactured. It included Mini & Micro Buses, golf carts, Concept cars which probably attracted a lot of attention for the young enthusiasts. The session ended with a lot of queries & students asking for more.
Dr Ashwini Sharma played the perfect host to the event, engaging the gathering with his witty examples.
The Post lunch session was followed by the session of Mr HK Agarwal, who expounded the details on Electric Bus. Mr Joti Prasad Shete ( Project Executive at L&T Services ) gave a detailed session on Hybrid Vehicles. The In-depth comparison provided by him was greatly appreciated by the entire student panel. The panel discussion catered to the long list of queries put forward by students & faculty.
The event ended with a group photograph of the organizing committee and a tribute to the nation by playing homage to the national anthem.
