ISIEINDIA in association with Society of Manufacturers of Electric Vehicle (SMEV), Skill Council for Green Jobs (SCGJ) & Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers, Delhi Section organised the 2nd Annual Expert Talk 2018 on 28th July 2018 at IIT Delhi on the very important topics of today’s scenario, The Future Train – E-Mobility, Future of Renewable Energy Resources & Skill, Knowledge & Employability.
We are thankful to all the Guests & dignitaries for sparing their valuable time & marking their presence at our event. It gives us a feeling of pride and honor to have such great dignitaries who have been working tirelessly towards the society & green technology, coming to the event & supporting us. We would also like to thank all our participants for coming to the event from such distant places.
The Event was inaugurated in the presence of our Chief Guest, Mr. Sohinder Gill (Global CEO, Hero Electric & Director General, SMEV) and our special guests, Dr. Praveen Saxena (Chief Executive Officer, Skill Council for Green Jobs), Dr. S. K Jagwani (Sr. Director, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy), Dr. Tapan Sahoo (Sr. Vice President R&D, Maruti Suzuki), Mr. Vikram Gulati (Vice President & Country Head – Govt. Affairs, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Ltd.), Mr. Ayush Lohia (Chief Executive Officer, Lohia Auto), Mr. Deepanghshu Dev Sarmah (Editor In Chief, Auto Tech Review), Mr. Amit Gupta (Chairman, Meru Infrastructure), Mr. Sumit Jena (Manager, Panasonic Energy System) & Prof. Viresh Dutta (Head Centre for Energy Studies, IIT Delhi).
It was followed by the felicitation of all of guests, speakers & dignitaries by Mr. Vinod K Gupta(President, ISIEINDIA) in the presence of Mr. Viresh Dutt( IIT, Delhi) on stage. The Introductory welcome speech by Mr Vinod Gupta followed the felicitation. He emphasized on the need to switch towards renewable technology the future plans of ISIEINDIA.
Inauguration of the event was followed by the signing of LOI between ISIEINDIA & Galgotias University for Academia Partnership Program. ISIEINDIA is going to implement Electric Vehicle Engineering Course into the course curriculum of Galgotias University.
After this, keynote speech that was given by the Dr. Tapan Sahoo (Sr. Vice President R&D, Maruti Suzuki) on the Future of E-Mobility and discussed some important statistics of electric vehicles. The keynote speech was followed by a panel discussion on E-Mobility. This panel discussion was moderated by the Editor In Chief of Auto Tech Review, Mr. Deepangshu Dev Sarmah and various industrialist participated from Hero Electric, Maruti Suzuki, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Ltd., Lohia Auto, Panasonic and Professors from IITD, they all discussed the future of E-Mobility or Electric Vehicles in India which probably attracted a lot of attention for the young enthusiasts. The session ended with a lot of queries & students asking for more.
After the break session, Mr. Sumit Jena (Manager, Panasonic Energy System) shared his views on Batteries, Electric & Hybrid Vehicles and audience cleared their doubts regarding the same. Prof. Su Kumar Mishra (Prof. In IIT Delhi) give the Brief knowledge about the Renewable Energy Resources.
The session was ended by the vote of thanks to Guest, Audience, Volunteers, Coordinators & Organizers given by the Prof. Ashu Verma (IIT, Delhi) & Mrs. Anchal Sharma (Marketing Manager, ISIEINDIA).
